Sit down at my table and allow me to serve you the best, most creative cooking ideas. I am the passionate foodie behind The Millennial Kitchen!
From a young age, food has always been my creative outlet. Summers spent on the east coast, in Prince Edward Island, were filled with lingering hours in the kitchen with my mom and nana, kneading bread, experimenting with new flavours and finding innovative ways to utilize everyday ingredients. We could never seem to follow a complete recipe, start to finish. Rather, we would get out our tried-and-true cookbooks, get a sense of the proportions of ingredients and then let the flavours unfold. A measured cup of risk and reward with every attempt kept my palate evolving. We created family dinners with plates full of fresh seafood and vegetables, harvested mere miles from our dinner table. And with each culinary success the positive impact of these delicious experiences shared by family and friends fed my soul.
My recipes and boards reflect those countless days spent in the kitchen, cooking for friends and family. To me, food is connection. I hope you enjoy gathering around the table with your loved ones, sharing a meal from these recipes, knowing that they were developed with a pure passion and appreciation for each flavour and ingredient.
